The Altar Society’s work is quiet and behind the scenes, overseeing the reverent care of the altar and maintaining the plants and flower arrangements that grace the sides of the tabernacle. No earthly beauty can compare with the loveliness of God’s presence, but it is for us to ensure that his dwelling place is maintained with the greatest dignity, honor, and respect that we can possibly offer. Although the time spent is rewarding, the Altar Society is always in need of assistance and support. If you are willing to serve Our Lord and your parish on the Altar Society, or can volunteer time in your busy schedule to help clean the church and sanctuary on Friday mornings, please call the parish office and leave your name and phone number.
