If there is a word that best describes life at Holy Rosary, it is lively! When a visitor to the office one morning asked if we ran a daycare facility, the two mothers waiting to get mass cards laughingly replied that it only felt like daycare; the gaggle of children were their own! Coffee and Donuts (technically the Sunday coffee hour, but little faces would fall if we neglected to mention the donuts) is a wonderful gathering of all ages, albeit a loud and somewhat boisterous affair. We are a parish of many children, their enthusiasm and natural piety reminding us all not only of the joys of childhood, but the miracle of life at any age.

The parish bulletin, distributed each Sunday after Mass and available online, is your best resource for one-time events and ongoing activities. Information about the Sunday Dance lessons, RC Challenge, S.W.A.A.T. (the pro-life youth group), meetings and lectures, fundraisers such as the popular Holiday Bazaar; and other special events appear in the bulletin, as does the schedule for the upcoming week. The best way to feel part of the parish is to take part in the parish. Join the Rosary Makers, the Hospitality Committee or Altar Society; volunteer at the parish picnic; plan to come to one of the several free parish dinners; sign up your children for CCD; and if you are a home schooling family, or considering home school for your children, we highly recommend our highly successful home school support group.

The root of all Parish life is grounded in Christ, but its health and vitality depends upon us. If you have come to Holy Rosary for years and see new families after Mass, take the first step and invite them to come with you to Siena Hall for coffee (and donuts!) If we always left the first step to the stranger, we would meet far fewer friends. And if you are new, take a good look at what we offer, and become part of our parish life.
